This morning as Nova 100‘s Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway returned to air for 2026 the team were able to mark Lauren’s ‘milestone’ birthday with special news headlines marking “the aging radio announcer as she enters her golden years.”

Only, Lauren is not 40, yet, and to quote her, ‘you can shove the 40 balloons up your wazoo’.

Lauren got her revenge on the team by sharing Jase’s awkward interaction with her brother at a festive gathering which you can listen to above.

Just to note though – next birthday is the big one for Lauren.
