Hayden Miller leaves Geelong after a decade doing breakfast on bay 93.9

After 10 years of waking up Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine on bay 93.9, a Geelong Broadcasters favourite, Hayden Miller is saying goodbye.

Station management have known for some time that Hayden will be moving to Canberra with his partner to be closer to family, and GM, Andy Mathers, praised Hayden’s dedication saying,  “10 years of 4am alarms and entertaining Geelong with a smile each morning is an amazing effort. Thank you Haydo’ for a job very well done.”

Hayden says, “I’ve had the most amazing time in Geelong, especially on-air with Mill, who has become a very close friend. I’ll miss my Geelong radio family and the wonderful listeners who have been so supportive, but it’s time for another chapter in my life and and being closer to the other half of the family is important to my partner and I.”

Bay 93.9 Content Director, Mark Hyland says Hayden will be missed. “He’s really become part of the listener’s life over the last 10 years, sharing many milestones along the way. Hayden will be missed by listeners and work mates.”

His breakfast co-host Lisa ‘Milly’ Millard says, “I’m crying already, he’s like brother to me.”
