Hit105 gets 2 new producers

Hit105 Content Director, Mathew Eggleston has appointed two new Senior Producers for hit105’s Breakfast Show, Stav, Abby & Matt.

Lead Senior Producer will be Brisbane girl, Siobhain McDonnell who has been in Dublin, producing Breakfast radio, for the past five years.

Siobhain, who kicked off her career at ARN in Brisbane before moving overseas, is pumped to be returning home, “I can’t wait to swap my thermals for thongs and come back to Brisbane! I grew up listening to the iconic B105 breakfast show and that was how my radio love affair began. I’m excited to get started with Stav, Abby and Matt and am looking forward to plenty of laughs, plenty of Number 1 results and plenty of decent Aussie coffee!”

Joining Siobhan to lead the hit105 Breakfast team is Gold Coast local, Toni Kipa, who was most recently at the helm of the top-rating Hot Tomato Breakfast show on the Gold Coast.

“My very first shift in radio was at Southern Cross Austereo, as an over-eager 17-year-old! Safe to say, I’m super excited to return to the SCA family with a head full of knowledge and a body clock primed for 4am starts.”

Mathew Eggleston says, “It’s certainly an important task choosing the right people to lead our wonderful and tight-knit Breakfast Show, but I have no doubt these two amazing Producers, with their wealth of experience and positive energy, will guide the team to even more incredible things.”

Both Producers will commence their new roles in the coming weeks.

They will replace Executive Producer Abi Benaud, who moves to 2DayFM as Executive Producer of Grant, Ed & Ash and Producer Kaz Simpson will be taking some time away from radio.
