Hobart gets a MONOPOLY board featuring Hit100.9

Hobart has its own MONOPOLY board complete with the Hit100.9 Community Chest.

The board showcases some of Hobart’s best locations with key local spots including the Royal Tasmania Botanical Gardens, Franklin Square and Sullivans Cove Marina.

Helping to launch Hobart’s very own MONOPOLY board today, Hit100.9’s Breakfast show announcer, Nath Roye, says, My favourite thing about being a part of the Hobart MONOPOLY launch was that the giant board was pegged to the ground, so I couldn’t have a tantrum and flip it when I lost!

“Also there was no bank which meant Jimmy couldn’t cheat…”

“MONOPOLY? More like More-Fun-For-Hobartopoly,” says co-host Jimmy Smith.

Head of Custom Games at Winning Moves, Marc Dragicevic, says, “The best part about doing these things is the response and it’s been overwhelmingly good. It’s what we want to see – the passion from the people, and the locals have definitely got behind it.”
