HOT FM Western Australia launches new line-up

Southern Cross Media’s HOT FM Western Australia has launched a new programming lineup for 2011. HOT FM WA has a potential audience of around 350,000 people, with studios in Bunbury, broadcasting to 9 licence areas including Bunbury, Kalgoorlie & Esperance.

Hot FM’s listening area features some of the best swimming and surfing beaches in Australia, is rich in natural resources and is famous for its wineries.

 

The new Breakfast Show featuries Rob Morrison (formally LAFM) and Heidi Anderson (formally Coast FM Warrnambool). HOT FM’s Rob and Heidi will broadcast from the Bunbury Service Centre, covering all WA markets and can be contacted on 13 12 16.

The show will rely heavily on content from listeners, and feature regular benchmarks and home produced skits.

From 9 am the program starts the workday with 19 mins of the 90’s with Rob and Heidi’, featuring best 90’s tunes. Starting at 10am the station features Add free 50’s, continuing till drive at 3pm, with Tradie Tracks at noon.

The last addition is Austereo’s new afternoon drive team Fifi Box and Jules Lund from Monday to Thursday and Hamish and Andy every Friday from 3.00-5.00pm, followed every day with Kyle and Jackie-O’s Hour of Power.

 

Commenting on the changes, Group Program Director WA, Tim Aquilina says: “It’s like HOT FM WA is a brand new radio station with an entirely new line-up. All the staff are excited about 2011, and this shows by the buzz around the studio’s.”
