i98FM’S Illawarra Convoy raises over $30 million for local community

Following the huge success of Sunday’s 2025 i98FM Illawarra Convoy, event founder and community ambassador Marty Haynes announced on i98FM’s Christian and Bella show today that the event has officially raised a staggering $30,006,878 over its 21-year history.

This year’s i98FM Illawarra Convoy alone raised a total of $2,313,243.

The fundraising kicked off last week with the highly-anticipated Lead Bike and Truck auction, which generated $1.3 million before the Convoy even began.

Ross Transport, supported by Amarli’s Army, contributed $305,000 for Lead Truck in Convoy. Coles Illawarra claimed the Lead Bike position for the fifth consecutive year, raising $156,000.

803 bikes and 817 trucks participated in the Convoy.

The Family Fun Day saw over 12,000 people walk through the gates of Shellharbour Airport where they were entertained with performances from The Screaming Jets and AC/DC support act Large Mirage, along with other Illawarra bands.

Kye’s FMX Motorcross Jam entertained the crowds. There were also kids’ rides, Santa photos and an array of food and market stalls.

Haynes expressed his gratitude for the community’s extraordinary support, saying “Every year the generosity of the Illawarra, trucking and motorbike community, volunteer and staff bypass any expectations to make this special event come to life. We live in the best place in the world, and we will continue to come back each year to help even more deserving families and organisations in the Illawarra.”

All proceeds from the i98FM Illawarra Convoy go directly to the Illawarra Community Foundation.

The Foundation provides critical assistance to families battling life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. To date, it has supported over 1,000 families with 100% of the funds remaining in the Illawarra and South Coast community.
