Ian Smith signs on for 3 more at SENZ

Ian Smith has committed long-term to SENZ keeping him with the network for a further three years.

Smith will also be heard more broadly across the SEN network across Australia and New Zealand.

Smith, a former Black Caps wicketkeeper-batsman, says he is excited to continue and expand his role with SENZ.

“I’ve always loved talking about sport on the radio, and SENZ has provided the perfect platform for me to do so.”

SEN Chief Executive Officer Craig Hutchison says Smith’s re-signing to the network was cause for joy for both the network and listeners.

“We are delighted that Ian has shown his faith in SENZ and re-signed for another three years. He understands where we are heading as an organisation and his insightful analysis and respected voice have made him a trusted figure in New Zealand’s sports media landscape.

“His continued commitment to building SENZ as a national powerhouse is a testament to his dedication and passion for delivering the best in sports coverage to our listeners.”
