Brash new Gold Coast station Hot Tomato has been encouraging listeners and contributors to get a plug in for ‘Hot Tomato’ wherever they can around the country.

Tomato supporters were pleased this week when Australian Idol finalist Stu Campbell managed to get in a plug for the station during his nationally televised performance from the Idol finals at the Sydney Opera House.

Another success for the station’s promotion included a mention in Terry Willissee’s Sky Television talkback show, when a viewer slipped in a mention of Hot Tomato during a talkback call.
