ARN has announced the next step of its regional news expansion plans with the launch of iHeart Tassie, a weekly news series focusing on the current issues impacting the Tasmanian community.

Produced and presented by Hobart 7HO Breakfast Newsreader Britt Aylen, the series can be heard each Friday morning across ARN’s Tasmanian stations, with each 20-minute episode also available as a weekly podcast.

The inaugural episode of iHeart Tassie is called “Tassie, The Roadkill Capital”, about the half a million animals that die on Tasmanian roads each year.

iHeart Tassie follows the introduction of an extended local news bulletin and podcast in South Australia’s Spencer Gulf and Eyre Peninsula regions.  These initiatives are part of ARN’s expansion plans across all regional markets.
