iHeartRadio live with Culture Club

Culture Club fans have been treated to the ultimate behind the scenes fan experience as part of the exclusive Pure Gold Presents iHeartRadio LIVE.

100 WSFM and iHeartRadio listeners got up close and personal with Boy George and Culture Club with an exclusive Q&A session hosted by WSFM’s Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones & Amanda Keller at Little Birdy Studios.

Fans then were treated to a meet and greet and had photos with the band.

Following the Q&A, fans then attended Culture Club’s sound check ahead of enjoying VIP access to the band’s show later in the evening and danced the night away to their favourite hits at The Hordern Pavilion.

Culture Club is touring Australia for the first time in 15 years with the original line-up on stage: singer Boy George, guitarist/keyboardist Roy Hay, bassist Mikey Craig and drummer Jon Moss.

Meantime the Australian Radio Network has announced iHeartRadio Australia has partnered with Optus to deliver a partnership that combines a series of live events with exclusive artist experiences and content, bringing audiences closer than ever before to the music they love.

The announcement comes off the back of Optus launching Optus Music, a data-free music streaming service, exclusive to new and existing prepaid mobile customers on selected plans across a range of streaming services including iHeartRadio.

After several recent iHeartRadio Live events including performances by international superstars Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert and UK sensation Jess Glynne, The iHeartRadio Australia Live series in partnership with Optus aims to bring music lovers closer than ever to their favourite artists and bands with a total of 14 live events over the next 12 months as well as access to premium content only available to Optus and iHeartRadio customers.
