Craig Bennett from Channel Ten’s Studio 10 caught up with John Laws this week.

Craig fires questions at the man who has been behind the mic for 63 years in a report titled Life Beyond the Golden Microphone.

Laws tells Bennett, “I’m in my third childhood… I’m saying ridiculous things and doing things I shouldn’t be doing.”

Taking talkback calls is “like having a conversation with someone on the street,” says Laws.

Footage of Laws’ time at 2UE features in the report, although he is now at 2SM. He talks about his feuds with Bob Rogers and Derryn Hinch and about his life with Caroline.
