Inde film and music website launched

IndieFilmWeb.com, the “world’s first on-line content portal for the independent film and music industries,” had its international launch this week. Emma Moss, ex Radio 2, is the new General Manager of the company behind the website, IFW Entertainment. Moss has a strong radio and film back
ground, including working with Martin and Molloy.

Committed to art expressed through the medium of the moving picture, IndieFilmWeb.com “breaks the stranglehold of mainstream film and music distribution, by offering filmmakers and musicians the opportunity to show their work free-of-charge on the web, while still retaining 100% copyright over the work broadcast.”

“Nothing anyone has seen will have prepared them for this,” says CEO, Brian Logan. “IndieFilmWeb.com is committed to promoting independent artists by encoding, hosting and streaming short films, animations, music videos, documentaries and full-length feature films, free of charge, and by offering artists free services to help promote both themselves and their work.”

“Now, thanks to IndieFilmWeb.com, any filmmaker or musician anywhere in the world can get their work in front of the highest echelon of industry professionals, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week; streamed in real time on the world wide web,” says Logan, himself a filmmaker.

General Manager Emma Moss says: “By actively and aggressively marketing the work we receive in both traditional and new media channels, IFW Entertainment aims to show independent artists that it is finally possible for them to make money out of their art without losing control of their copyright or getting screwed in the deal”.
