Indecency Counterclaim against Howard Stern

Clear Channel Communications, the biggest radio operator in the US, has filed a $3 million countersuit claiming breach of contract against One Twelve, a company owned by shock jock, Howard Stern.

Clear Channel’s action is in response to a $10 million suit, filed several weeks ago by Stern’s company and Viacom Infinity Broadcasting, the distributor of his daily radio show.

They say Clear Channel broke Stern’s contract earlier this year, when it dumped his show in six markets, after fines by regulators for ‘indecent’ statements on air.
