The Sunshine Coast’s Zinc 96.1 has turned back the clock to the 80s for the month of August.
Form 9am to 6pm every day Zinc 96 is playing nothing but the 80’s, including timeless classics and songs that possibly haven’t seen the light of day since the 80’s.

Zinc 96.1’s August 80’s is the ultimate musical time capsule for lovers of big hair bands, acid wash denim and Alf.
“We might cringe when we look back on some of our own 80s memories, but the music sure has stood the test of time! August 80s is our way of remembering and revelling in the best the decade had to offer,” said Zinc 96.1 Content Director Ross Turner.
Throughout August 80’s the station is also giving away tickets to the 80’s Mania Party featuring Paul Young, Cutting Crew, Wang Chung and Taylor Dane, all live for one night only.
The month will finish with the top 80’s of the 80’s countdown with votes being taken now at zinc96.com.au
