It’s too far and it’s not OK: Fifi Box

Fifi Box has spoken out against a photographer and magazine for publishing photos of her and her family visiting her grandmother’s grave.

“Usually I cop it on the chin and try to keep a dignified silence and try not to give it oxygen, but this week a line has been crossed,” Fifi said this week on her Melbourne Fox FM breakfast show.

“It was crossing the line and invading a private moment… We were trying to remember my dear grandparents and it was ruined by paparazzi,” she told co-host Dave Thornton.

“One of those photographers stood on my grandparents grave and took photos of the headstones … then they were published this week in a magazine.

“That has hurt my family, were still grieving the loss of my grandparents.”

Fifi said the only reason she is “giving it oxygen” is that it has hurt her family. She did not name the gossip magazine in her comments.

LIstener comments on the Fox FM comments page supported Fifi.
