Jerry Sheers resigns from 6iX Perth

After just over 7 years with the Capital Radio Network, Jeremy ‘Jerry’ Sheers has stepped down from his current positions as Content Manager, Breakfast Producer & Breakfast Panel Operator at 6iX in Perth.

‘I would like to thank Kevin Blyton for giving me my first job in radio.  I would also like to thank Josh Elliott for being a great General Manager, and Blaire Woodcock and Cameron Luke for helping me get my first job.  It has been a long and winding road but have decided to take an indefinite break from radio.  I must also thank ‘Baby’ John Burgess, what a legend!  Have learnt so much from him and seem to have become the main focus of his jokes on-air….won’t miss that!’

‘6iX’s status as a competitive commercial radio station in the Perth market will be redefined once they move building.  It’s very exciting times for 6iX, and the Capital Radio Network.’

Jerry will finish up at 6iX on Friday, 12th December.
