ARIA award winning singer/songwriter, Jessica Mauboy, is the latest artist to perform in Nova’s Red Room at Richard Wherrett Studio (Roslyn Packer Theatre) on Friday 26 July in Sydney.
One of Australia’s most successful female artists, Jessica has just released her new single ‘Little Things’, the second single from her fourth studio album ‘Jessica Hilda Mauboy’, which is set for release in October.
In 2006 Jessica captured the nation’s heart as a 16-year-old on Australian Idol and has gone on to secure five top 10 albums, fifteen top 20 singles, four ARIA accredited Platinum selling albums and won two ARIA Music Awards. Her songs and videos have been streamed over 292 million times globally and over 112 million times in Australia alone, as well as having over 3.3 million catalogue sales (singles, albums & DVDs).
Jessica has toured with Beyonce, collaborated with Ricky Martin, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg and Pitbull; performed for Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and made history as the first non-European solo artist to represent Australia at Eurovision in 2014.
Jessica has also impressed critics as an actor, having starred in the film Bran Nue Dae, the acclaimed 2012 musical The Sapphires, and headlined the Australian TV series, The Secret Daughter in 2016 and 2017.
She made ARIA Chart history as the first indigenous woman to achieve three consecutive weeks at #1 for her release of Songs From The Original TV Series, The Secret Daughter series 1 and series 2.
