Jessica Mauboy is back to her best with brand new single ‘Glow’ debuting at No. 24 on the National Radio Airplay Chart. The Voice Australia coach makes her first appearance on the chart since 2019’s ‘Selfish’, which peaked at No. 27. It’s also Mauboy’s first release on Warner Music Australia, following her departure from Sony.
‘Glow’ received spins from 19 stations this week, including KIIS 1065 (34 spins) and KIIS 1011 (28). KIIS Nights show Mitch To Midnight scored the first spin just minutes after the single dropped on Friday morning.
The much-anticipated release of Red (Taylor’s Version) offered up an airplay chart debut for Taylor Swift. ‘Message In A Bottle’ notched the highest debut of the week at No. 21 with 335 spins. The track performed particularly well in Sydney and Melbourne, with both markets collectively accounting for 44.7% of total spins.
After last week’s debut, ‘One Right Now’ by Post Malone & The Weeknd climbed 21 spots to find a new peak position at No. 14. Nova led the charge as SCA’s Fox FM and B105 were also among the top contributors.
