More jobs are set to go at SCA, as the company overhauls its news department.
Confirming the changes, an SCA spokesperson said:
“SCA is evolving the way we gather and prepare news bulletins to better serve audiences across Australia, now and into the future.
News bulletins will continue to be delivered by journalists based in provincial and metro hubs across the country, allowing us to strengthen and expand our regional news coverage.
Unfortunately, this means some roles have been impacted. We are supporting our people through this difficult transition.
SCA will continue to prioritise quality localised news to audiences across Australia.”
