Joe Camilleri offers his Harley & Rose Gibson Guitar to raise funds for Triple R

In an incredible act of generosity, singer-songwriter/musician Joe Camilleri has donated his Harley & Rose Gibson J200 1964 guitar to Triple R to raise funds for this year’s critically important Radiothon.

The guitar graces the cover of The Black Sorrows’ legendary 1990 Harley & Rose album and is a piece of Australian music history.

Joe says, “It’s a beautiful guitar. Wonderful custom Gibson. See if we can get more than $10,000 for it […] I love that guitar. And if it goes to a beautiful home, it would be just wonderful.”

To make an offer, email [email protected] before 5pm on Wednesday 30 September.

The Triple R Radiothon has never been more important to support the station as, due to COVID-19, the cancellation of live entertainment events and a huge percentage of income from sponsorship announcements, which ordinarily provides half the station’s revenue, has been decimated.

The radiothon ends Wednesday 30 September.
