Mark will be heard every Friday morning from 8 to 9am on Giddy Up with Gareth Hall in a new segment called The Hunter’s Edge. Mark will provide a comprehensive preview of Melbourne’s Saturday races with the segment broadcast across RSN, the SENTrack network, and also aired on Racing.com.

David joins Giddy Up on Monday mornings from 8 to 9am to review the weekend’s Melbourne races, and again on Thursday mornings from 9.30 to 10.30am for Gator’s Gameplan, where he will preview the upcoming Saturday races.

The pair will also team up with Miles Pfitzner on Saturday mornings to continue the Melbourne Form Preview on RSN. This hour-long program will offer listeners a deep and entertaining look into the Melbourne form each week and be heard on RSN from 8 to 9am each Saturday morning.

John Henry (pictured) has nearly five decades in the industry from 3KZ and 3XY breakfast, the nationally syndicated 2UW NightBeat Australia, Drive Time talkback on 2SM Sydney then Sky Racing in 2009 and for the last decade RSN 927.

Jon said:

“I am very happy to be joining the new ownership of Craig Hutchison and SEN and teaming with Sam Thompson, such a highly regarded radio executive and programmer, and Julian Bayard, who will driving the ship.

I’m looking forward to continuing my on-air association with the wonderfully loyal RSN audience across Victoria.”

Mark said:

“I’m thrilled to be joining SEN and continuing my work on RSN and on SENTrack with Gareth Hall. ‘The Hunter’s Edge’ will give punters a deep dive into Melbourne form every Friday, and I’m looking forward to teaming up with Gator and Miles on Saturday mornings ahead of a huge day of racing.”

And David added:

“I am extremely excited to be joining the SEN team and once again working with my great mate Gareth Hall.

My love and passion for horse racing is as strong as ever and my drive to not only find winners but also to help educate and entertain the current and next generation of punters underpins everything I do, and all that I love about our great game.

Our Monday ‘Review’ and Thursday ‘Game Plan’ segments will be in-depth however, we will make sure we are having immense fun with it all and you have my word, we will NOT be taking ourselves too seriously! I am also very much looking forward to detailed interaction with the RSN and SEN listeners. I cannot wait to get started. Bring on another Spring Carnival!”

The acquisition of RSN expands SEN’s racing footprint, with plans to enhance programming, digital offerings and audience engagement across Victoria and beyond.

SEN CEO, Craig Hutchison said:

“David and Mark are two of the most trusted voices in Australian racing. Their insights and experience are second to none, and we’re proud to welcome them to SEN as we expand our racing coverage. With RSN now part of the SEN family, we’re delivering more access, more analysis, and more racing than ever before.”

“John is a true legend of Australian broadcasting. John’s presence will ensure continuity for listeners and elevate our racing coverage to new heights.”
