John Redman leaves Ray Hadley for A Current Affair

After a 17-year history with Ray Hadley, his Exec Producer, John Redman is leaving his Morning Show on May 20.

Redman has taken a role as Senior Producer at NINE’s A Current Affair. He told radioinfo: “Ray has been incredibly supportive of the decision, so no dramas at all.”

Redman started at 2GB in 2005 in the newsroom, then  junior producer for Alan Jones, Producer for Jason Morrison’s Drive Show and finally Associate Producer The Ray Hadley Morning Show and also worked on the Continuous Call Team.

Taking over from Redman will be Olivia Wilbury who started as a Drive producer with 4BC, Brisbane in 2016 and joined Hadley’s show, networked from Sydney, two years later. In her three years with Hadley’s program, it achieved its highest ever results in Brisbane.
