After a week on air in her new gig at Wave FM Wollongong, Mel Greig says she feels comfortable, just like getting back on a bike after a fall.
It’s been three years since she has been on radio.
Mel Greig has told radioinfo:
“I didn’t know if I’d work in radio again. I wanted to, but I needed someone to give me a chance.
“It really is just like getting back on the bike, I rode that bike this week and I didn’t fall off. It felt comfortable and I loved it.”
Friends welcomed Greig back on air, with Sophie Monk among the celebrities who called into the show during the week.
Monk described Greig as “organised, loyal and awesome” and gushed about their time together on Celebrity Apprentice.
Mel says she has had “incredible support this week, Kyle and Jackie O, Sophie Monk, Mark Bouris, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Dan Ewing and Sophie Monk all calling through for a chat…
“It’s what I love and it’s what I want to continue to do. To share experiences, be honest and raise awareness.”
Listeners also supported the show, calling in and leaving positive messages on social media.
