K-ROCK’s all new B-TEAM

K-ROCK’s all new B-TEAM has been confirmed. It will kick off from 6am next Monday morning July 14th.

Leroy Brown will continue as anchor after four successful years at the helm, and Hunter McLeod who recently joined the ranks as morning presenter, will join Leroy in delivering a big new B-TEAM sound for breakfast in Geelong and Surfcoast.

After almost 6 years co-hosting the breakfast shift, former Big Brother contestant Paul ‘Chicken’ Dyer recently left the station to pursue his private business interests.

As he left for the gym K-ROCK Program Director Leigh Kuhlman said he was “….super pumped, the new show should be good too.”

“I’m so excited about the announcement, this will launch K-ROCK into the stratosphere, with Hunter onboard with her breadth of experience and talent and of course Leroy Brown who’s already established in the market place, K-ROCK will lock in its position as Geelong’s leading broadcaster along with attracting new listeners.”

K-ROCK General Manager Andy Mathers is “tremendously excited about the new direction the B-TEAM is about to undertake. It took us about 3.2 seconds to realise Hunter and Leroy will make a brilliant team, I look forward to hearing them on Monday morning and have no doubt our loyal listeners and clients will love them.”

K-ROCK will have more announcements to make about its breakfast line-up before the year’s end.
