The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber are here to ‘Stay’: AirCheck

Sydney’s own The Kid Laroi had already hit a career high when he teamed up with Justin Bieber for the infectious new hit ‘Stay’. Now with 580 spins in its first week on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, the track is already showing signs of staying power. Nova lead the pack with 58 in all markets and dropping the pair straight into the top 10. Outdoing himself ‘Without You’ is still a contender, spun a consistent 337 times and hedging bets for The Kid Laroi at No. 23.

Sitting in the top spot however is once again ‘Bad Habits’ with radio’s love for Ed Sheeran only getting stronger. Another 139 spins this week adding up to a massive 1008 across the country for the hit maker.

At 8 weeks in Vance Joy continues his steady climb to the top, now hitting a new high at No. 2. He’s gained 9.4% on last week’s airplay with KIIS Sydney & Melbourne showing the most support but Nova’s increased spins (now averaging 34 on each station and in all dayparts) providing the ‘Missing Piece’ for the newfound peak.

An additional 27.2% was the biggest increase in airplay in this week’s top 20, taken out by Melbourne based DJ/Producer Jolyon PetchThe Edge Sydney span ‘Dreams’ 60 times in the past week, the biggest contributor to the song’s climb of 6 spots to No. 14. KROCK, Hot-Tomato and 101.9 The Fox also showed big increases this week for the track.
