No, she won’t be leaving Nova 969, but Kristy Warner will break into television when she replaces Carrie Bickmore on Ten’s ROVE. Rove McManus himself made the announcement on the Merrick & Rosso & Kate Ritchie breakfast show on Friday.

Kristy was obviously thrilled saying, “I think the path has well and truly been set here from these boys so there is probably not too far to go. I’m stoked to be joining such an incredible team over at Rove. Carrie has left me some big shoes to fill but I look forward to the challenge.”

Merrick Watts said that “As soon as we found out she was auditioning we knew she’d get that part.”

Rove McManus said, “I’m really looking forward to slowly undermining your journalistic creditability by making you say willy jokes. It’s going to be fun, we’re looking forward to it.”
