In this, their 11th year at the top of FM Breakfast in Sydney, Kyle & Jackie O have signed a new five year deal with ARN.

Although the deal has been finalised, bidding continues as to how much people think the duo is getting paid. The network has declined to mention money but industry insiders say that it’s likely to be lots. radioinfo’s Peter Saxon agrees, “It probably is.”  Unconfirmed reports put the figure as high as $40…  no, wait… $50 million for the pair over the five year term.

“KIIS feels like home for us. The station has such a vibrant energy, not only on air but throughout the company and with everyone we work with at ARN – it’s a great place to be,” Jackie said.

Kyle agrees, “There was never a doubt in my mind KIIS was our home for the long haul, because we helped to create it! It’s my baby. Jackie and I are still doing what we love and doing it better than ever.”

ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell says, “The breakfast shift is the most gruelling and competitive in the market and The Kyle & Jackie O Show has rated the outright #1FM Breakfast team every year for the past decade and they have by far the biggest breakfast audience in Sydney.

“It has been an incredible three years at KIIS 1065 and I’m excited to see what the next five years hold for The Kyle & Jackie O Show.”
