Less that 48 hours after radio and TV presenter Steve Price launched into Kyle Sandilands on Network Ten’s The Project, KIIS 101.1 have turned the negativity into a marketing campaign asking the people of Melbourne to make up their own minds about Kyle and Jackie O.

The campaign was produced in-house and plays on the no such thing as bad publicity saying. It will play on tv, socials and, of course, radio. No word on whether it will be part of The Project’s advertising schedule.

Lauren Joyce, ARN Chief Connections Officer said:

“Every morning Kyle & Jackie O deliver a unique, loud and always entertaining show and that’s exactly what this campaign is.  You don’t get to be Australia’s most successful radio show by pretending to be something you’re not.  Our plan was always to ‘own’ the headlines; and we’ve done that literally and figuratively.”

The ‘Kyle & Jackie O – Make Up Your Own Mind’ campaign actually began on Sunday 28 April, with some new additions to it since then. Kyle & Jackie O can be heard weekdays from 6-10am on KIIS 101.1 in Melbourne and KIIS 1065 in Sydney.
