KIIS 106.5’s Kyle and Jackie O started this week broadcasting from the brand new studio created in North Sydney especially for their breakfast show. The new digs are spectacular and, dare I say it, befitting what the duo are committing to give back to ARN in return for their reported $200 million over 10 year contract deal.
The build has taken less than six months to complete, possibly spurred on by Kyle’s declaration that they wouldn’t commence on Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1 until they were in the new studio.
There are views of the Sydney harbour, a live music space, TV studio and immersive video screens. It was officially opened by Premier of NSW Chris Minns this morning.
Tomorrow morning (Tuesday March 12) they will announce their Melbourne launch date. Gfk Radio 360 Survey 1, the first for 2024, will be released this Thursday.
