2Day FM newsreader Geoff Field was a guest DJ at Kylie Minogue’s 40th birthday party celebrations this week. He must have enjoyed himself, because the next morning he blew a 0.13 reading in the breathalyzer put on him by Kyle and Jackie O.
He was suspended and sent home for his troubles.
Meanwhile, Kylie fever is also sweeping Brisbane, where B105’s Labrat, Camilla and Stav have decided to relive television’s most sacred moment… Scott and Charlene’s 1987 wedding on Neighbours.
While the mullets, the babies breath, and the silk taffeta will remain unchanged in their live re-enactment, it is Labrat who will be playing Charlene and Stav looking after the role of Scott (see pic below).
Kylie, as Charlene wed her childhood sweetheart Scott, played by Jason Donovan, in the episode which drew nearly 20 million viewers. One has to ask, how good can Labrat possible look in a dress?
Celebrity guest and official witness in the B105 studio tomorrow morning to this testimony of love will be Rove McManus. A live cross will also take place with Neighbours’ Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), who still resides on Ramsay St today and was at the original betrothal.
Labrat, Camilla and Stav will relive those magic moments at 8:10am Friday (tomorrow) morning live in the studios of B105.
