Laws exposes Jones/Flint relationship – we have audio

In a withering assault that opened his nationally syndicated show this morning, John Laws suggested that 2GB broadcaster, Alan Jones, and ABA Chairman, Professor David Flint have been friends for several years.

Laws quoted Jones strongly supporting Flint as far back as November 2000.

NSW Premier Bob Carr has also weighed into the debate saying David Flint “must stand down immediately” because he is “unable to behave appropriately.”

A spokesman for the prime minister says John Howard has “no knowledge of any such conversation” between the broadcasters and “doesn’t take instruction from the media.”
