Leadership changes at SCA

Southern Cross Austereo has announced some key senior leadership structural changes across their regional business effective immediately.

Head of Regional for SCA Rick Renarcic says the changes are part of their continued investment and development of the entire regional management group at SCA.

The main purpose of the regional leadership structural adjustments is to – in turn – enable our local market leaders to better manage their respective areas across the large geographical spread of the SCA group.

The NSW changes in particular reflect the fact that Southern NSW is now a Nine TV market whilst Northern NSW is a Ten TV market. Accordingly, sales and management will be more efficient and effectively operated independently from each other for these license areas.

Ashley Myatt, NSW Regional General Manager, who currently oversees the whole NSW region, will now manage our Northern NSW markets and lead our NRTV national sales business unit along with Doug Wesney – General Sales Manager NRTV.

Ashley has done a fantastic job over the last 12 months managing NSW and a big thank you from the leadership team for his hard work and commitment.

This move will also allow Ashley to have a greater focus on Newcastle and Gosford which are SCA’s 2nd and 3rd largest regional radio revenue markets.

Rod Winner, Regional General Manager VIC/SA, will now take on Southern NSW in addition to his current role.

He will have the support of Jason Priestley who will take on the role of GM Central and Western Victoria. Jason will be overseeing the markets of Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepparton and continue to report to Rod Winner who’s role title will be Southern Regional General Manager.
