Spy photos confirm that plans to bring Kyle and Jackie O to Mix and change the station’s name to KiiS 106.5 are well advanced.

The photos were shot through the window of Redfern based creative agency Joy by a passer-by who sent them to Mumbrella.

No doubt there will be questions asked about how such a commercially sensitive campaign could be visible to the public from the street.

Also visible are a number of otions for slogans including “2Day was yesterday” and “Today was yesterday.”  Perhaps as a sign that SCA knew about ARN’s plans to take up the KiiS name, today’s launch of Triple M’s Classic Rock Channel is playing wall to wall Kiss. 

A spokesperson for ARN told Mumbrella, ”We take our agency relationships seriously and we’ll be discussing this with Joy.”
The spokesperson went on to say, ”There are multiple scenarios for ARN next year but we will confirm that nothing has been agreed.
 
“We’re reviewing a number of talent and station options and Kyle and Jackie O are one of these. While our marketing team are preparing for every eventuality, the sharing of one of many draft concepts isn’t ideal.”

No, it’s not.

Most keen judges would be forgiven for thinking that with work that far advanced, it is more than likely that the deal with Kyle and Jackie O will go ahead.
