Leith Forrest to fill in for Stacey Lee on FIVEaa

As FIVEaa afternoon presenter Stacey Lee heads off on maternity leave, Leith Forrest will shift from evenings to keep the seat warm while she is away. The first bub for Stacey is due late June.

Leith said:

“I’m beyond excited to keep Stacey’s seat warm. Listeners can rest assured, I plan to continue the amazing work Stacey has been doing, with a sprinkle of me included. So listeners might hear a couple of Carlton and Millicent mentions here and there.

While I’m no stranger to the shift, it’s another great challenge I’m excited to sink my teeth into. I’m clocking up 25 years at the station in September, so it will be nice to celebrate that with the Afternoons audience. While I’ll absolutely miss the Evenings listeners who have embraced me and have been so kind, they’ll be in very safe hands and hopefully they’ll tune into afternoons too.”

Stacey added:

“I couldn’t think of anyone better to hand over the Afternoons microphone to. Leith has so much experience and is incredibly well known and trusted by our FIVEAA listeners, so I know my radio baby will be in safe hands. The newshound in me will always have an ear on what’s happening so I know that bub and I will be some of Leith’s most regular listeners. Who knows, Leith might even see my number flashing up on the talkback line.”

Looking after evenings in Leith’s absence is Matthew Pantelis. Matthew had shifted from FIVEaa mornings into the newsroom last November.

The changes commence from Monday June 2. Stacey will return to FIVEaa in 2026.
