On Friday November 15, Matthew Pantelis announced on Adelaide’s FIVEaa that he would be leaving his morning show and returning to the newsroom. He will mark 30 years with the Nova Network station in 2026.
Graeme Goodings, the veteran TV news reader, occasional filler-inner and the father of FIVEaa breakfast show co-host Will Goodings (both main picture) will take over mornings from Pantelis.
Now, before I leave this story I got a Secret Santa Christmas present with this announcement.
If you’ve been reading Radioinfo on the weekend you will perhaps have followed the great bus mysteries of 2024.
Firstly there was the WSFM announcer who restores old buses to their former glory in their spare time: https://radioinfo.com.au/news/when-steve-isnt-restoring-stuff-he-works-in-radio/
Then the 2MC Fun Bus that live atop the delightfully named Lunatic Lookout in Lightning Ridge: https://radioinfo.com.au/news/a-radio-mystery-the-2mc-fun-bus/
Then Albert the bus, which drove from Sydney to London: https://radioinfo.com.au/news/update-on-the-2mc-fun-bus-and-an-introduction-to-albert/
At no point in any of this bus talk did ANYONE alert me to the below bus which funnily enough lives in Adelaide:
It was earlier this month part of Christmas festivities.
See if you can pick the driver!
