Listeners ride The Wave to the top of Hawaiian ratings

Australian owned Hawaiian station The Wave 92FM has returned to top of the ratings on Hawaii’s Big Island.

Its average quarter hour share rose from 13.2% to 14.2%, 2.1% above its nearest competitor.

The station only started broadcasting on the island last year but since then has managed to dominate all female demographics under 54.

Resonate Hawaii Director Rex Morris said: “Today’s result is a testament to having the right strategy executed by a passionate team, who we could not be more proud of.”
