Children’s radio station Little Rockers Radio and charity Share the Dignity are set to host a nation-wide kids yoga class on 31st August, with funds raised going towards free kids activities, classes and sports lessons for children recovering from long-term exposure to family violence.
Child care centres, play groups, mothers groups and parents around Australia are all invited to participate.
“Parents, carers and children right around the country are encouraged to join in on what we hope will be Australia’s largest simultaneous kids yoga class,” said Sarah Morrissey, founder Little Rockers Radio.
“It’s a fun and healthy way for everyone to get involved and support the tens of thousands of children who are victims of family violence.
“We are so proud to be supporting Share the Dignity in this cause and are delighted to work with some of the best of the best in the children’s entertainment industry.
“Tina, the lovable Lah-Lah from ABC Kids is the voice of the yoga class which was written by the talented team at Fun-key Yoga.”
