Live at RRR returns for 2025

Triple R will bring live music back to the Performance Space in 2025. Each week a different live act will perform for an intimate audience of 150, with the show also broadcast on the Triple R airwaves. During March the Live at RRR lineup is below with a selection of previous events also getting a revisit.

Thursday March 6Ela Minus, hosted by Charlie Miller of Frantic Items. The Colombian producer and singer arrives for a debut Australian tour, following the release of DÍA, an album of jagged techno-pop and atmospheric New Age elements.

Friday March 14 – Floodlights return for a special set hosted by Rachel Short of Bright Lights. The Naarm five-piece are back from touring UK, Europe, and the US, and will be Live at RRR, previewing songs from their upcoming third album Underneath – the follow up to Painting of My Time, a previous Triple R Album of the Week.

Friday March 21 – Brown Spirits hosted by Steve Cross of Beat Orgy. The Melbourne trio are celebrating the release of Cosmic Seeds on Soul Jazz Records, a recent Triple R Album of the Week. Building on a foundation of Fender Rhodes, synths, and drums, the group bring a thrilling mix of psychedelic rock, jazz and motorik rhythms.

Friday March 28 – Wrong Way Up bring their vintage Afro-disco sound, hosted by Ennio Styles of Stylin’. The Melbourne-based duo of Emmanuela Degery and Andrew Phillips will perform tracks from their debut album Totally Right, channeling influences from legendary musicians like Frances Bebey to William Onyeabor.

In 2024, Triple R featured 50 artists in the Performance Space, including Grace Cummings, Mildlife, Blonde Redhead, Barkaa, Gut Health and more. Of those 50 artists, Triple R was proud to host 44 Australian acts including 7 First Nations artists.
