Lorde makes her long-awaited return to Australian radio this week, with her latest single ‘What Was That’ debuting at #27 on the RCS Media Monitors National Radio Airplay Chart.

Sydney’s 2DayFM, triple j and Hit101.3 led the charge on spins, while Nova Network held back slightly, contributing just 10 plays nationally.

Landing one spot below at #28, ‘Blink Twice’ by Shaboozey & Myles Smith makes a strong entry, powered largely by Nova, which averaged 25.2 spins per metro station to push the collab into the chart.

Both acts are no strangers to Top 40 success: Shaboozey recently topped the chart with ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’, while Myles Smith peaked at #2 with ‘Stargazing’.

Meanwhile, Alex Warren’s ‘Carry You Home’ featuring Ella Henderson takes a tumble, dropping down the chart after shedding 103 spins this week (–27.4%). The track previously peaked at #3 in December 2024.
