Macquarie Infrastructure Group pays dividends

Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group has confirmed its final
distribution for the year ending 30 June 2006. Estimated distribution will be 19.5 cents per stapled security with payments expected on 14 August.

This payment will bring distributions for the financial year ending 30 June 2006 to 39.0
cents per stapled security, an increase of 35% over the previous year.
The 19.5 cents per security will comprise a 13.5 cent distribution from Macquarie
Communications Infrastructure Trust (MCIT) and a 6.0 cent un-franked dividend from
Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Limited.
