Marty Sheargold bids farewell as his replacement is feeling nervous

After 10 years with the Nova Network and nine years as co-host on Nova’s national drive show, on Friday night Marty Sheargold said goodbye to listeners for the final time.

Marty’s mates Adam Gilchrist, Amy Shark, Matty Johns, his Producer Jess Bath and Associate Producer Loren Barry, someone who knows him best as his Melbourne producer, bid him farewell and wished him well for the future.

On Instagram, the guys took a trip down memory lane starting with a look back on where it all began in May 2010 with Nova 106.9 Meshel, Tim & Marty  breakfast show which then became the Meshel, Tim & Marty drive show in September 2011.

The tribute included footage from the marketing campaigns for Meshel, Tim & Marty and the popular Kate, Tim & Marty’s Jacuzzi Friday benchmark segment, KTM’s trip to UK for the royal wedding, highlights from their action filled week in Las Vegas and memories from their shows from a car, a plane and a train, providing a fitting tribute to Marty Sheargold

Today the new drive show begins with Joel Creasy in the chair with Kate and Tim, and he told Fitzy and Wiippa that he is feeling the pressure.
