Mason Cox will join KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren as a regular AFL contributor in 2023.
Appearing live on air every Thursday morning, Mason will be bringing his rare insight from inside the Collingwood Magpies camp and beyond, touching on the latest news in the world of AFL.
Mason has previously appeared on the show a number of times over the past year, with him even blowing a KIIS after kicking a goal in the final game of the 2022 season, which lead to the station donating $2,000 to Ladder, the official charity of the AFL Players.
He joins fellow footballer and current AFL contributor of the show, Christian Petracca, who will continue to take the lead Monday mornings, as well as the show’s full-time news and sports presenter, Clint Stanway.
Cox says, “I couldn’t be more pumped to be expanding my role with ARN and joining the Jase & Lauren family this year!
“Off the field, I’ve always been passionate about the media space, so I’m excited to jump in-studio with the crew every week and talk all things footy and life. Clint and I will have some great footy banter each week, I’m sure!”
The news follows the announcement that the AFL star’s podcast The Mason Cox Show has joined ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network.
