Matt “Macca” MacCarthy, has taken over the 96.3/88.9fm, 9am to 12noon Monday-Friday infotainment program.

He replaces Johnny Mac who retired from the program after 9 years.

Macca is no stranger to radio, having worked in many parts of NSW behind the mic over the last two decades.

Content Director Ray McCoy says, “We are super stoked to have Macca onboard the 88.9fm/96.3fm team. Macca was the perfect replacement for Johnny Mac, as his knowledge on regional politics, music, and open line calls brings a mix of excitement and unpredictability to what he does on air”.

 Macca says he lives by four radio rules, “Make them laugh, make them cry, make them think and make them dance”.
