Triple M will launch its all-star Saturday and Sunday NRL shows for 2014 this weekend, uniting some of the biggest names and the best experts in Rugby.
 
The Grill Team Sydney’s Matty Johns will lead Triple M’s brand new Sunday NRL show, joined by Rugby League legend Gorden Tallis and journalist Paul Kent.
 
Triple M will also host a new Saturday arvo footy with Ryan Girdler, Wendell Sailor and Tony Squires, to be joined by Rugby League immortal Andrew “Joey” Johns and The Grill Team Sydney co-host Mark Geyer, plus various other guests each weekend.
 
Matty Johns said: “Of course we’ll have a bit of a laugh but it will be issues based. With Kenty and Gordie, you’re going to get two of the most forthright opinions in the game and then we’re aiming to have all the news from Friday and Saturday wrapped up. These two men have the strongest opinions in the game, and they’ll be giving plenty of them.”

Gorden Tallis said: “Footy is back and there’s no better place to be covering it than on Triple M – and joining Matty and Kenty makes 2014 the most exciting year on the M’s yet! I can’t wait to bash heads with the boys and show them that Queenslanders aren’t just better footy players, we’re better on the radio too!”
 
Both shows will be broadcast on Triple M Sydney (FM 104.9) and Brisbane (FM 104.5), with selected matches aired on a number of Triple M Localworks regional stations. The shows and game calls can also be streamed live on the Triple M App for mobile and tablet.
