We noticed this morning that Mel B had disappeared from the breakfast banner (below) on the 2Day Website. It has now been confirmed that she has declined to renew her contract with the struggling station according to Confidential.

Station GM, Jeremy Simpson told the publication, “We can confirm Mel B will not be continuing with the breakfast show for the remainder of the year. Her contract was for an initial 6 month period. Mel remains a good friend of the show and we look forward to having her back as a guest in the near future”.

Mel B reportedly said, “I have loved my time in Australia being on The Voice Kids and part of the breakfast team for the past six months. I can confirm I won’t be continuing for the remainder of the year.”
