This morning on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, the team caught up with Melbourne’s very own Batman – a local hero who cruises through Berwick, Pakenham, Dandenong, Narre Warren and the CBD.

But instead of fighting crime, this Batman spreads joy, riding his electric scooter in full costume and waving to passers-by to brighten their day.

“Basically every morning I wake up, I dress up as Batman, go down the streets of south east Melbourne and Melbourne’s CBD and just put smiles on people’s faces and spread joy,” he told Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway.

And Batman had a special message for the people of Melbourne:

“I hope everyone can make sure they keep a great big smile on their dial and I hope they find their happiness deep within and just make sure to keep spreading all the love and joy instead of the hatred and negativity around the world.”
