Michael Marcagi next up in Nova’s Red Room

Nova listeners are getting spoiled in July with US folk-rock singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi the next artist to perform live in Nova’s Red Room at Lulie Tavern in Melbourne Tuesday, July 16. 200 fans will be treated to the intimate show where Marcagi will perform hits including ‘The Other Side’ and ‘Scared to Start’.

Marcagi said:

“I’m really looking forward to my first Australian tour this month and to be playing a stripped back show in Melbourne for Nova winners.”

Marcagi and his music emerged via TikTok, securing a record deal off the back of two songs. His debut EP American Romance, released through Warner Records, expands on that promise with Scared to Start making its way up the ARIA charts.

Mel Tracina, host of Nova 100’s workdays, will host the event, the fourth in Melbourne this year. Teddy Swims is also on the Nova’s Red Room stage the Sunday before on the 14th.

Listeners can win their way to attend these exclusive Nova’s Red Room events by listening to Nova’s Ben, Liam & Belle, via Nova 100 throughout the workday OR entering via The Nova Player.
