Mix 102.3’s Jodie & Soda have been doing breakfast radio on the Adelaide airwaves for four years now, but only recently discovered they have an unusual connection from more than two decades ago.

The pair were talking about housesitting when it became apparent that Mark “Soda” Soderstrom had once minded Jodie’s place with a mutual friend they didn’t know they shared.

Soda described how he made himself at home, and had a great time enjoying Jodie Oddy’s spa with friends, unbeknownst to her for almost 20 years.
 
After making the discovery, Soda decided to surprise Jodie by reliving his experience in her new house when she went on holidays recently to Byron Bay, and revealed all to her in a video which features Soda spilling wine, making himself comfy in Jodie’s bed and even skinny dipping in the pool.
