Mott coming out of hospital

Fairfax Radio’s Graham Mott will be out of hospital this weekend and has sent a message of thanks to all radioinfo readers for their good wishes. He plans to spend the next few days with his phone off and feet up, resting, after a week of treatment.

Mott, who was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma in the abdomen last week, began a course of chemotherapy during the week and so far has responded satisfactorily. All being well he will leave hospital on the weekend and rest at home for a while.

He plans to resume light duties during his outpatient treatment as soon as he can.

Graham Mott thanks all his radio industry colleagues for their many messages of support. He says he is sorry he may not be able to immediately respond to everyone, but wants readers to know he has received all the cards, emails and phone messages.

If he doesn’t answer his phone for a few days, don’t worry, he’s just got his feet up, resting and listening to the radio.
