Moves at Magic Talk and MediaWorks NZ

Dallas Gurney has been appointed as Director of News and Talk for NZ’s MediaWorks.

The former editor-in-chief of Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport has most recently been managing director of communications agencies DRUM and ROCKET, and crisis communications consultancy Serios

Over at Magic Talk, Ryan Bridge is leaving radio to host the AM Show on TV and will be replaced by Lloyd Burr.

Magic Talk Morning host, Peter Williams has decided to retire with Leah Panapa moving from afternoons in the 9am to noon spot, leaving Danny Watson to host afternoons on his own.
